Safeguarding
Safeguarding and Child Protection– everyone’s responsibility
At Edison Primary School, the safety and wellbeing of every child is our highest priority. We are committed to creating an environment where children feel secure, listened to and confident that any worry they raise will be taken seriously.
All our staff and volunteers are trained in safeguarding and child protection, and we follow the statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education alongside the procedures of the London Borough of Hounslow and the local safeguarding partnership.
Our Designated Safeguarding Lead and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads are pictured in our main reception and staff room, and our Trustees maintain oversight of safeguarding across the school.
