Raising Concerns
If you have concerns about your child’s learning, wellbeing, or safety at Edison Primary, we want you to raise them as early as possible. Sharing worries promptly helps staff respond sooner, gather the right information, and put support in place where it is needed. Your feedback is taken seriously and will be handled respectfully and professionally.
To raise a concern, please contact the school through the appropriate channel and include as much detail as you can. This may include what happened, when it occurred, who was involved (if known), and any relevant supporting information. If your concern relates to day-to-day classroom matters, starting with the class teacher is often the most effective route; for wider issues, the school’s leadership team can advise on the next steps.
We understand that speaking up can feel difficult, particularly when you are worried about your child. Edison Primary will listen carefully, explain what happens next, and keep you informed of progress where appropriate. If you are still not satisfied after the school has considered your concern, you will be guided on how to escalate it through the appropriate processes in line with school policy and expectations in the UK.
