OFSTED
Ofsted inspects schools in England to provide an independent view of the quality of education, and reports directly to parents and carers on what a school does well and where it can improve.
Our most recent Ofsted inspection took place in December 2024 and Edison Primary School continues to a good school. The full report is available on the Ofsted website.
We take great pride in sharing some of the highlights from our Ofsted report:
- Pupils are very happy in the school. Staff have developed positive relationships with pupils, and they know the pupils very well.
- The school has high expectations for pupils including those with special educational needs.
- Pupils have very positive attitudes towards their learning.
- Pupils behave well during lessons and at breaktimes. They are kind and caring to one another.
- The school has developed an ambitious curriculum for all pupils.
- In the Early Years, the school has carefully considered how children should progress through the curriculum across all areas of learning.
We are proud of what inspectors recognised in our school, and we use their findings alongside our own self-evaluation to keep improving the experience we offer every child.
Parents and carers can also share their views of Edison Primary School at any time through Ofsted Parent View at parentview.ofsted.gov.uk.
