Year 2 Visit Bournemouth Beach

On Tuesday 7th July, our Year 2 children enjoyed a fantastic day at Bournemouth Beach as part of their History and Geography learning.

They explored the seaside by identifying and drawing its physical and human features, helping to bring their classroom learning to life.

Throughout the day, the children took part in a range of exciting activities, including team-building games such as beach ball, a challenge to build the tallest sandcastles, creating artwork of different sea creatures using a variety of patterns, and shell printing. They worked brilliantly together, showed great creativity, and had lots of fun in the sunshine.

To round off a wonderful day, everyone enjoyed a well-deserved ice lolly before heading back to school with smiles on their faces and lots of happy memories.
