Year 6 Celebrate Eid!

Year 6 enjoyed a wonderful Eid Art Afternoon, celebrating the traditions and joy of Eid with their families. Pupils worked alongside their parents to create beautiful hanging crafts featuring stars and moons, symbols often associated with the Islamic faith.

The decorations were brought to life with glitter, sequins and colourful designs, making each piece unique and sparkling with creativity. It was lovely to see the classroom filled with conversation, laughter and teamwork as families spent time crafting together.

The afternoon ended on a very special note, with the children proudly performing a selection of Eid songs for their parents. Their enthusiasm and confidence made the performance truly heart-warming.

It was a joyful celebration and a meaningful opportunity for families to come together, share in the children’s learning, and celebrate this special time of year as a school community.
