Happy World Book Day from all of us at Edison

On Friday 6th March, our school celebrated World Book Day with a fantastic day dedicated to reading. The children enjoyed exploring a wide range of exciting reading activities throughout the day, designed to inspire a love of books and storytelling.

As part of the celebrations, pupils also took part in a Poster Competition. We were so impressed with the creativity and effort shown! The winning entries from Years 2–6 will receive a £5 book voucher to spend at the book fair taking place next week.

Well done to everyone who took part and helped make the day such a wonderful celebration of reading!

A reminder that parents are warmly invited to visit the Scholastic Book Fair from Monday 9th to Friday 13th March, from 3:45–4:00pm in the small hall. We hope to see many of you there supporting this exciting opportunity for children to discover new books.
