Farming at Bocketts Farm

On Thursday, Reception had a truly wonderful day on our trip to Bocketts Farm! We met so many amazing animals, including horses, llamas, sheep, pigs and many more. Some of our children were even brave enough to feed the animals!

We learnt all about the animals and their young, we all know the baby goat is called a kid, like us! We met some friendly farmers, climbed aboard a tractor and enjoyed a ride around the farm.

They were shearing the sheeps, we got to see the farmers in action. We especially loved cheering on our pig, 'Alison Hammond', during the pig race. It was an amazing experience that we will never forget.
